This holiday season, CreativeSights was inspired by our own lightbulb logo and our love for San Diego to bring you a list of only a few of the most popular neighborhood holiday light displays all around San Diego County.
1. Clairemont, 92117
Off Abernathy Ave., this neighborhood’s circular street has more than 40 decorated houses.
2. Carmel Mountain Ranch, 92128
Over 85 homes light up the streets of Fairway Village in this “Holiday Magic”community event. For even more holiday fun, Fairway Village located along StonyGate Place, holds a public block party the Saturday before Christmas that include snacks, hot drinks, and, of course, Christmas lights.
3. Chula Vista,91910-91915
You can find more than 55 homes decorated on the circle between First and Second Ave., off H St. and 1st Ave., known as “Christmas Circle.”
4. El Cajon, 92021
A collection of houses covered with Christmas lights can be found on Solomon Ave./ Pegeen Pl. and the surrounding area. Located off of 67 and Bradley
5. Lakeside, 92040
“Tinsel Town” is made up of 20 plus decorated houses on Paseo Palmas Drive.
6. Poway, 92064
Hickory Ct., Butterwood Ct., and Rockrose Ct. are all off of Twin Peaks Rd. During the Holiday season, they turn into “Candy Cane Courts” and each cul de sac is decorated with lights and Christmas displays.
“Christmas Card Lane” off of Black Mountain road is a big neighborhood with many houses decorated for the holidays. Walk around to see a Christmas Town with a model railroad running through it, or meet some Holiday characters who like to hang out in front of the decorated houses!
