Another collaboration with the AgencySD and Westbound Communications, CreativeSights worked to build a website that helped facilitate communication between the State of California and the motor vehicle drivers relative to the construction project.
As one of three routes in and out of Southern California, the Interstate 15 (I-15) and Interstate 215 (I-215) interchange is a heavy goods movement corridor and recreational gateway to places like Las Vegas and the Colorado River in addition to being a commuting route.
As a result, the Devore Interchange, of which I-15 has been designated a Corridor of National Significance, has become one of the worst grade-related bottlenecks in the nation with traffic queues backing up as far as five miles.
Recognizing the need for improvement, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) worked together to develop the Devore Interchange Project. It marks the first Caltrans Design-Build project in the Inland Empire and will improve mobility and maximize operations through the corridor.
The site provides the project leadership and managment teams a portal to communicate the status of the project and high-priority information to the people affected by the construction and the elevated traffic conditions that accompany projects of this nature.
This website features custom graphics, slideshows and a responsive design that allows it to work well on all types of devices.
